I founded the Women’s Open Network (WON) in Dec 2015 with 6 members. We have grown to over 670 Members! I wanted to create a fresh new approach to networking that focused on building relationships and addressing our Member's' needs.  Professionally I work in the IT world as a PMO Director. Personally I'm a mother of four and have 11 grandchildren!

One Friday evening I wandered in to a WON meeting after seeing a post on meetup. It was love at first meeting! Women inspiring and supporting women...the connections are powerful both personally and professionally.

I enjoyed a 30 year nursing career before being bitten by the entrepreneurial bug. Today I help families facilitate difficult discussions around end of life planning.

I support WON by managing their social media presence.

Bio

I have always been involved in supporting women and love to be witness to the undulation of changes each one of us experience as we walk through our lives.  I am excited to be part of WON and to have the opportunity to touch and be touched by kindred spirits that have chosen to step into our network.  I am a Storyographer.  My work is about engaging women to give voice to their life stories and combining my expertise in coaching/mentoring, inspirational teaching, motivational speaking and facilitating workshops.

As President of the Eastside Chapter, Susan is excited to support WON’s mission of “inspiring women to positively shape the world we live in”. She loves how WON is unlike most networking groups and encourages you to experience the difference- you’ll leave feeling included, supported and encouraged after just one meeting! As a Transformation Coach and Speaker, Susan helps people tame their inner critic and live powered by purpose.

Bio

I am so excited to be able to support the WON community by working with chapter leaders to develop opportunities for members to connect outside of our monthly meetings. I am passionate about female entrepreneurship and believe in encouraging the pursuit of a life that provides freedom and flexibility. The rest of my time is spent on developing several businesses, including financial coaching for female business owners, wedding photography, and real estate investment.
